Victor Ngetich, chief officer lands and urban planning, procurement officers Robert Ngetich and Evans Kiprono, accountants Jackline Chemuntai Kirui and Wesley Kiplangat Korir and Stella Chepkemoi from the stores sections were today sacked by governor Barchok for facilitating payments totalling ash2.5 million to pseudo companies and processed fictitious claims defrauding the county government

The governor immediately ordered for immediate internal audit to help in identifying deals adding that it seemingly it has been happening

He immediately replaced the corrupt land chief officer Mr Ngetich in acting capacity with Mr Simon Langat , the chief officer Education
