Immediately the body was taken in to Mama Lucy Morgue. The gun sound had send an alarm to youths who were around, on noticing the scene, they forced their entry into Mama Lucy alongside demonstrators demanding answers and arrest of the officer for the offence.

At this moment, GSU officers were called upon to calm the situation. They came with force and used tear gas to scare the demonstrators away. In the whole mix up, injuries were reported.

It took more than two hours to contain the situation. But at the end of all this, Mburu had saved life and he was dead. His family, had just lost a father, a son and a loved one

The incident comes barely few hours after IPOA had released its statistics in the increased cases of extra judicial killings, whereby those mandated to protect life have become a threat to life itself. In all this, Kenyans are asking if the police reforms were just a document.

The officer has not been arrested and the young girl is under medication at the same facility as the body of Mburu is moved to City Morgue. Investigation into the murder has commenced
