Citizen television news anchor lilian Muli Kanene has showed her interest in ousting Mwala constituency member of Parliament Vincent Musyoka Musau come 2022

Muli who is said to be having a great support in the region is being fronted by top kamba leaders who believe she can bring change in the region

While contacted Ms Muli said “I have no plans to run in 2022 but in the near future I would consider running since am capable,” she added.

Among media personalities who supported her hand at politics were Citizen TV presenter Holy Dave and former Tusker Project Fame Judge Ian Mbugua. 

A number of celebrities have already expressed interest in running for elective seats in the 2022 polls.

KISS from presenter Felix Odiwour Aka Jalang’o has declared his interest in vying for the Lang’ata parliamentary seat in 2022 as his former co-host at Milele FM Alex Mwakideu stated that he was eyeing the Wundayi parliamentary seat.

Journalists Jacque Maribe had also hinted at running for a political seat in 2022.

“It is an opportunity. Given the opportunity why not? I have not ruled it out but what I am saying is I have not officially declared it,” Said Maribe
