Gor Mahia managed their 1st win in 5 matches in all competitions when they beat Kakamega Homeboyz 2-1 in a Kenya Premier League match at Bukhungu .

The mighty kogalo who were 12th on the table needed a 93rd minute goal scored by new signing Brazilian Silva Fonseca to claim the match after going down early in the 1st half.

South Sudan international Tito Okello equalised for the champions in the 56th minute of the game to cancel Chris Masinza’s first-half strike before Sliva, who started his first match for the holders, struck in stoppage time to complete the comeback win.

The win sees Gor Mahia bounce back to winning ways a day after visiting Mzee K’Ogalo’s grave in Homa Bay.
